28 DecI was at Occupy Oakland in November when an army of police shut it down. Two things impressed me about that day. First, the impressive show of military muscle on the part of the cops. Second, that they didn’t succeed in removing a Native American from his tree house at the site. This article reminded me of him as he was making the same point:
